Although the Discord app is already integrated for PlayStation 5, there are workarounds to get Discord working easily on your PlayStation 4. These workarounds aren't as easy as opening the app on PS5, but with a little work, you can chat on Discord while playing games on your PS4 console. This wikiHow teaches you how to get Discord on your PS4 and PS5.

Connect Discord to PlayStation 4

If you're using a PS4, use the web browser to navigate to the Discord web app. Enable JavaScript in your web browser if it isn't already enabled. To join a voice chat on Discord using your PS4, you can either use a headset and mic that you plug into the controller or PS Remote Play on your phone.

Scroll to the right and select the tile that looks like a bookshelf to see your library.
It's in the menu on the left side of your screen and will show you apps that aren't labeled as "games."

- Download PS Remote Play on your Android or iPhone.
- On your PS4, go to Settings > Remote Play Connection Settings > Enable Remote Play > Add Device.

Start a direct voice chat on Discord. Make sure you have a connected headset before you start. Then, do the following:
- Open the control center and select Game Base.
- Select the Discord tab.
- Select Direct Voice Chats.
- Select the user you want to voice chat with.
