Shirt collar thickness is determined by the thickness of the interlining used to form the collar. In general, softer collars are trendier, and they work well for more casual outfits and warm weather. A firmer collar, on the other hand, is better for business suits and more formal attire.
Collar height refers to how high the collar sits on your neck.^{[17]
